Ecsec successfully negotiated to refurbish Zaza Harpenden – an 80 seat, two story restaurant. The project had to be completed during a 2 week shutdown, which was a very tight delivery time given the scope of works.
Some of the challenges completed during the project were, the removal of two chimney’s across all floors, complete relocation of the bar area and the installation of two real tree’s. The works also included redecoration and new banquette seating throughout and a compete new lighting system.
The end result was a greater dining space with redesigned bar area giving a higher level of use. The real tree trunks with faux foliage provided a stunning focal point climbing up the staircase and opening up to a second tree on the first floor with foliage across the coffered ceilings.
The project was completed on time and within budget, culminating in a very successful re-opening.Click here to download
