Wheelbase Garage is a leading Volkswagen and Audi Franchise with a sales and service department based in Hersham, Surrey.
ecsec were given the task of carrying out the refurbishment of the sales area whilst allowing the business to continue its day to day operations.
It was agreed with the client that ecsec would carry out the work in 2 phases. The front of the sales area being phase 1 which included re-cladding the external shell, signage, tiled floor, redecoration and new entrance which included Bi folding glass doors to allow access for vehicles. To allow Wheelbase to continue trading ecsec erected a hoarding across the sales area to enable the works to be carried out and formed a new temporary entrance to the side of the building allowing the public access to the Wheelbase offices.
On completion of the first phase, ecsec moved the offices from the rear of the sales area to the completed area at the front of the building overnight to allow a smooth transition between phase 1 and 2.
The works were completed in six weeks at a cost of £90k.
